Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, driven, and knowledgeable Medical Outside Sales Representative specializing in post-mastectomy prosthetics and lymphedema compression products. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, clinics, hospitals, and specialty boutiques to promote and sell our solutions for women’s post-surgical needs. Your expertise and dedication will empower patients to regain confidence and comfort through tailored product recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the territory, focusing on post-mastectomy prosthetics, bras, and lymphedema compression garments.
• Establish relationships with healthcare providers, such as oncologists, surgeons, nurse navigators, and durable medical equipment (DME) providers.
• Represent the company at trade shows, educational events, and industry conferences.
2. Account Management:
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing accounts to drive repeat business.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer and patient needs.
• Assist in fitting and sizing recommendations for post-mastectomy and compression products.
3. Training and Education:
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide training to healthcare providers, including how to properly fit patients with post-mastectomy and lymphedema products.
• Educate referral sources on the clinical benefits and applications of the products.
• Organize and participate in community outreach and educational events.
4. Market Research and Strategy:
• Monitor industry trends and identify growth opportunities within the post-mastectomy and lymphedema market.
• Report on competitor activity, customer feedback, and market needs to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on product launches and marketing strategies.
5. Reporting and Planning:
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Prepare and submit sales reports, including forecasts and activity updates.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in medical or DME sales, preferably in post-mastectomy or compression therapy.
• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by post-mastectomy patients and those managing lymphedema.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of healthcare referral processes and insurance requirements for DME products.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Compensation and Benefits:
